Listen. Counsel. Plan.

3 steps
to completion of your estate plan

1. Listen.

Our Initial Consultation Meeting is a chance for us to meet and get to know each other. Nothing is as personal and private as planning for the future. We will get to know you and your family. We will listen to your thoughts, plans and goals for protecting your loved ones. We will take as much time as is needed to ensure that you will feel comfortable with us as we help guide you through this important process. We will answer all of your questions, and make sure that you have a solid understanding of basic estate planning concepts and how a Revocable Living Trust works. At the conclusion of our consultation, we will discuss our recommendations for a specific Living Trust estate plan to accomplish your goals and desires. We will tell you what our flat fee will be for providing your Living Trust estate plan. (“Flat fee” means a one-time, fixed fee… there are no hourly charges.) At that point, you will have sufficient information to decide whether to go forward to the next step. We never charge for our initial consultations.

2. Counsel.
Should you decide to go ahead with your Living Trust estate plan, we will then schedule our Trust Design Meeting. At this meeting, we will gather all the necessary information needed to create a highly personalized plan that reflects your unique circumstances and goals. We will explain the current state of the law as it relates to you and your family and how you can take advantage of all the benefits afforded under the law to reduce or eliminate estate taxes and other costs. We will work together to plan, in great detail, how your Trust will be operated, who will be the Trustees of your Trust after your death or disability, who will be the guardians for your minor children, who will receive your assets, when those assets will be distributed, and how your Trust will be operated and managed. We will share with you the experience and knowledge we have gained from working with thousands of clients. At the conclusion of this meeting, we will be ready to begin the legal drafting of your Living Trust estate plan.

3. Plan.
During our Trust Signing Meeting you will put into effect your Estate Plan. Your Living Trust and all supporting documents are ready to sign. This meeting is the culmination of all your planning efforts. We will sit down together to review and confirm the details of your Living Trust estate plan. Once you are satisfied with, and fully understand, your estate plan, you will then execute the documents. After your documents are signed, we will provide detailed instructions on funding your trust. At the conclusion of this meeting you will have a fully effective Living Trust estate plan.
